Once you have received the gift of salvation and the Holy Spirit, being a fully committed follower of Jesus is a seemingly difficult life initially. The
acts of baptism and repentance have consumed your thoughts, and you may believe that you are all good. Bring on the love and good times in my
new life God. Show me all the good stuff everyone has always talked about when they became Christians. In his recent book, “Salvation Walk” Dr Poole wrote on the deception of false teachers in the world. Just as the Holy Spirit led Jesus to the wilderness after baptism, (See Matthew 4:1) you will need to allow the Holy Spirit to work in your life to
survive the cunning wiles of the devil and his spirits of fear, discouragement, pride, loneliness,
and anger just to name a few. You must separate yourself from your old lifestyle to read and truly study the word ofGod and be equipped to bind the strong man when he tries to reenter your life. You must come out of the world to live a committed Christian life with Jesus as Lord and Savior over your life.Allow Dr Poole to enlighten you of the true meaning of Ephesians 6:12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” If you are not a saved committed follower of Jesus, you will always live in The Lion’s Den.1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:The Bible says that the devil prowls around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.
